Arunachal Pradesh is one of the last perimeters of India. The state is concealed between Bhutan, Tibet and Myanmar and is one of those places which has been craving the attention of mainstream tourism for a very long time.
Even though the place has plenty of security restrictions, there is a beautiful state which is, sadly, less explored by the travellers. In recent times quite a number of places have been opened up by the government, which one can enter only with permits, which are easily made available for Indians. 1. Spot The Red Panda
The red panda is the only surviving member of the Ailuridae family, which is a type of bear family. In India there about 20 odd protected areas which aim to conserve the remaining red panda population; one amongst them is the Namdapha National Park.
The national park is one of the largest protected areas of the Eastern Himalayas and is major biodiversity hotspot which makes it the third largest national park in the country.

2. Visit Upper Dibang Valley
The upper Dibang valley is one of the least populated districts of the country and the irony is that it is the largest district in the entire country with a total area of 9,129 sq km. The major attraction in the valley is the Dibang Wildlife Sanctuary which is the abode of the Mishmi Hills giant flying squirrel. The only place in the entire Dibang valley to have access to the rest of India is Anini.

3. Trek To Talle Valley
The trek to Talle Valley is a profound journey into the long-lived tribal culture and custom which played an important role in maintaining the purity of the forests. The valley is home to the Apatanis tribe, who have a large number of customs which helped them in protecting the rich biodiversity of the valley. One such custom is the observing of a taboo period when hunting and entering into the forest is strictly out of bounds to anyone.

5. Visit The Largest Monastery Of India
The Tawang Monastery holds the credit of being the largest monastery in India and the second largest in the world. Tawang Monastery is known as Galden Namgey Lhatse in Tibetan which in translation means the "celestial paradise in a clear night", the monastery is also one amongst the few places which protects and conserves parts of Tantric Buddhism, which otherwise can only be seen in Tibet.

6. Taste Thukpa And Rice Beer At The Solung Festival
The Solung Festival is celebrated for seven days in the months of August and September. The festival begins with a ceremonial sacrifice of the Indian bison or a pig and for the rest of the days, Apong or rice beer is brewed and served fresh along with a large variety of meat delicacies. The festival is one of the best ways to witness the interesting culture of the indigenous tribes who are not represented in the modern world.
