Varakala Beach is situated in Varakala of Thiruvananthapuram. It is believed that, a dip in the water of this beach, washes away all the sins. Hence, it is also called as Papanasanam Beach.

The aura of Varakala beach is both spiritual and enjoyable. Geologically, this the only beach in South Kerala where cliffs are there adjacent to the Arabian sea.

Muzhappilangad Beach is the longest Drive-in Beach in India. It is just parallel to National Highway 66 between Kannur and Thalassery.

One can drive or ride on the shore of Muzhappilangad Beach in Kerala. It gives a feeling of adventure to drive along the waves of the beach.

The beach festival is an important event which happens in Muzhappilangad Beach. Often a favourite among youngsters, there is also a private island called Dharmadam island nearby. It is a must visit place in Kerala.
