Meet The Gods Of Varanasi

One of the most popular temples here is the Kashi Vishwanath Temple dedicated to Lord Shiva. The temple was built in the year 1780 by the Ahilyabai Holkar, the queen of Indore.The lingam here is said to be one of the 12 Jyotirlingas of Lord Shiva; hence, it considered as one of the holiest shrines.
