5 Unique Means of Transport in India!

India is a country full of surprises and travellers are always amused by whatever they get to see around them. Travelling in this country at times is a major task as the roads simply don't exist and other transportations are unavailable. But this has not stopped the population of the country from finding other means of travel to get around their daily routines.

There are various animals that are used by the people in the country for transportation. Be it the camels in the sandy desert of Thar, elephants in the various jungle safaris or horses in Matheran. Tourists travelling to these places must make sure that they opt for at least one such experience that is as adventurous as it is fun! Here are the five unique transport rides in the country.

1. Camel Ride in Rajasthan
It is not easy to cover the endless sandy desert of Thar by foot and tourists coming here have two options of either taking a jeep or riding a camel. While most opt for the jeep as it is faster and convenient they forget that the real fun of traversing this place only comes from atop a camel. Popularly called the 'Ship of the Desert', camels are the true attraction here. So the next time you head to Rajasthan, ditch the jeep ride and take a camel ride to enjoy the moment.
