Gurdwara Mattan Sahib , Mattan
Gurdwara mattan is a Gurdwara built in the memory of Guru Nanak. Situated at a distance of 60 km from the capital city, Srinagar, this is a highly revered place here. The Gurudwara is built on the site of ruined temples and is one of the most popular sacred places in Kashmir, where apart from Sikh devotees Brahmins also pay homage.
Gurdwara Guru Nanak Sahib, Kishtwar
Situated on the left side of river Chenab, Kishtwar is famous for the Gurdwara Guru Nanak Sahib. It is said that Guru Nanak Sahib stayed at the garden of siddhas here, known as 'Sidhian di Bagichi' , and had a discourse with siddhas. It was later constructed by Bhai Sahib Sher Singh of Kashmir.
Gurdwara Pathar Sahib, Leh - Ladakh
Gurdwara Pathar Sahib is a beautiful Gurdwara built in the memory of Guru Nanak at about 25 miles from Leh, on the Leh-Kargil road. Situated at 12,000 ft above the sea level, it was built to commemorate the visit of Guru Nanak to the region of Ladakh in the year 1517. It is undoubtedly one of the popular Gurdwaras in Jammu and Kashmir.
Gurdwara Guru Nanak Sahib, Awantipura
Gurdwara Guru Nanak Sahib is situated in Awantipura which is 29 km from Srinagar. Before proceeding to Srinagar, Guru Nanak met some Shaivaites, in the temple of 'Shankara-Charya'. The historic Shrine is constructed in the memory of Guru Ji's stay. Some ancient Hindu temple ruins are also seen here.
Gurdwara 6th Patshahi, Nowshera
Gurdwara 6th Patshahi is situated at Rajouri which is 40 km away from Bhimber. Guru Hargobind Sahib visited Nowshera in 1620 A.D. and met Birm Shah who served Guru Sahib with complete devotion. Birm propagated Guru's mission in the hills of Mirpur and settled here.
