The Kanha National Park is one of the biggest national parks in Madhya Pradesh. It is also the base of the Kanha Tiger Reserve that was created in 1974, one of the first Tiger reserves created under Project Tiger. The bamboo forests, streams, and the vegetation makes it a place worth exploring. The national park is the only natural habitat of Barasingha, a rare species of deer.
