Kodachadri , Karnataka
Kodachadri is a natural heritage site in the Western Ghats of South India. It is also the 10th highest peak in Karnataka. Kodachadri has many trekking routes reaching the peak and is covered by the dense forest.
A heaven for nature lovers and adventure enthusiasts, Kodachadri also has other places to visit: Ganesha Guha, Iron Pillar, Mookambika National Park, Hidlumane falls, Belakallu Theertha etc.
Since it has many trekking tracks, the difficulty level varies from one track to another. Especially, during monsoon it is challenging to do the trek. However, the amazing view of this mountain peaks is a bliss to watch.

Agumbe, Karnataka
Agumbe is a small village in Shimoga district, Karnataka. It is known for rain forests and tourism.
Agumbe is mainly for trekkers and photographers. The misty mountains, thick forests and hilly terrains invite people to see this place.
Agumbe is popularly known as " The Cherrapunji of the South" and is famous for its sunset view. Barkana falls, Onake Abbi falls, Jogigundi Falls are some of the places near Agumbe.

Coorg, Karnataka
Coorg or Kodagu is the most famous hill station in Karnataka. It is known for coffee plantations and many tourist spots.
Coorg is also the birth place of the Kaveri river; the goddess Kaveri is worshipped by the people of Coorg.
It's a must visit tourist spot during September.

Araku Valley, Andhra Pradesh
Araku valley is a hill station in the Eastern Ghats of Visakhapatnam. The valley is surrounded by mountains like Galikonda, Ratnakonda, Chitamogondi, etc.

Ananthagiri Hills, Telangana
Ananthagiri Hills is situated in Ranga Reddy district. Mainly known for Anantha Padmanabha Temple, the hills is covered by the forest.
Ananthagiri is also the birth place of the river Musi (Muchukunda) which flows towards East and joins the Krishna river.
Ananthgiri is a place for nature lovers and is a part of Araku Valley.

Coonoor, Tamil Nadu
Coonoor is the second largest hill station in the Nilgiri Hills. Known for its production of Nilgiri tea, this scenic place is a famous one.
Coonoor provides a perfect base for trekking expeditions and has many tourist attractions. Just 20 km away from Ooty, Coonoor has a metre gauge railway line to Coimbatore and Ooty.
Sim's park, Dolphin's nose view point, Lamb's Rock, Katary Falls are the places to visit around Coonoor.

Courtallam , Tamil Nadu
Courtallam or Kutralam is known as "the Spa of South India". It is also the birth place of many rivers: the Chittar River, the Manimuthar river, the Pachaiyar river etc.
Courtallam has many waterfalls which fills during monsoon. June- September is the best time to visit Courtallam.

Wayanad is one of the beautiful places in Kerala. Earlier known as Mayanad, it was later changed to Wayanad. Set on the Western Ghats of Kerala, Wayanad has many tourist spots.
September is the best time as you can experience post-monsoon showers.

Devikulam is a small hill station near Munnar. This hill station gets its name from a legend, once the goddess Sita Devi of the Ramayana epic, bathed in the Devikulam lake.

Marayur or Marayoor
Marayur or Marayoor in Idukki is famous for natural sandalwood forests.
There are around 60,000 Sandalwood trees in the forest. 40 km from Munnar, this beautiful town is worth a visit.
Chinnar Wildlife Sanctuary in Marayur has the largest number of reptilian species and various other animals.
Marayur is also famous for the production of Jaggery. So if you to go there, you can experience different things in one place.
