Vajreshwari is also famed for its hot springs, a result of the volcanic plates that lie underneath the plain ground.

The village was earlier known as Vadvali and is believed to be formed due to the volcanic eruption. The village of Vajreshwari provides with a marvellous view of the surrounding hillocks and the nearby river of Tansa. The place is dotted with around 21 hot springs spread over the river bed of Tansa, stretching for around 7 km.

These hot springs are popular for curing skin ailments due to the many medicinal qualities they possess. Needless to say, Vajreshwari has transformed into a health resort and is thronged by tourists from all over the place. Vajreshwari also houses the ashrams of Swami Muktananda and Swami Nityanand. Swami Nityanand’s Ashram is known as the Ganeshpuri Ashram.
