Solan Weather

The region of Solan experiences a sub temperate climate throughout the year, and as a reason, the place remains pleasant and cool most of the time. Summers are warm while winters are accompanied with snowfall. The place receives substantial rainfall during the monsoon season.

Summer

(March to May): The summer season in this region commences from the month of March and lasts till the month of May. The maximum temperature during this time has been recorded at 35� C while the minimum temperature hovers at around 15C. The weather of the place remains warm during this period with the month of May being the hottest. However, the mercury falls significantly during the nights.

Monsoon

(June to September): The monsoon season in Solan starts from the month of July and rainfall continues till the month of September. The place receives heavy rainfall from the southwest monsoon. The months between October and November are suitable for visiting this place because of favourable climatic conditions.

Winter

(December to February): Winters here commences from the month of December and lasts till the month of February. The weather of the place gets extremely cold with mercury levels falling to as low as -2C. Snowfall is also seen during this season. The maximum temperature during this time hovers at around 15C.
