Sindhudurg Weather

The Sindhudurg region enjoys a semi tropical and humid climate.

Summer

The summer season is especially warm here, lasting from mid-February to May, with the temperature ranging between 32℃ to a maximum of 38 ℃. The humidity is extremely high during this time of the year, with May being the hottest month.

Monsoon

The Monsoon season that follows is a welcome change in the climate. During the period fro June to September, the entire area receives extensive rainfall from the South West Monsoons and renders travelling difficult. October and November constitute the Post Monsoon period, when the conditions are slightly humid.

Winter

The Winter season is from late November to Mid-February and is hands down, the best time of the year to enjoy this place. The climate is much cooler and pleasant with the temperature hovering around 20-22℃ for the most part.
