In Saputara, the population of the tribal people called Dangs is quite high. This tribal museum in the hill station is dedicated to them and their lifestyle. Walk in to catch a glimpse of the beautiful things they use like the handmade musical instruments, masks for dancing, their costumes, ecology, their lifestyle and more. Also displayed at the place are the stuffed birds, clay products and body tattoos that were used by the Dangs.

A place that every wildlife enthusiast and admirer of calmness would love to be at, Vansda is spread on a 24 sq km area and originally had been the private forest of Vansda maharajas.

The beautiful park, though small, is quite dense and houses rare wild animals like the tiger, rusty-spotted cat, pangolin, giant squirrel, leopard and python. Avail permission from the Chief Wild Warden or the DFO, if you wish to pay this place a visit.

Those who love short excursions would love an attraction as this one. Mahal Bardipura is a beautiful forest situated about 60 km from Saputara, and the thrilling woodland makes an ideal spot for trekking and long walks; thanks to nature, which has gifted the land with tranquil rivers and bamboo glades that transform the same into a fascinating grove.

Sunset Point: Sunset Point in Saputara is also known by name Gandhi Shikar and visitors to the spot can enjoy a breathtaking view of the Saputara hill station from here. The viewpoint is at a walkable distance from the heart of the city.

Sunrise Point and Echo Point: Sunrise Point, too, is an attractive tourist destination in Saputara from where one can enjoy a breathtaking view of the rising sun and the hill station. The Sunrise Point lane leads to Echo Point, and present here is an amphitheater where visitors can call to their echoes.

Honey Bees Centre: This centre educates its visitors about the technique of honey production. One can watch the wonderful way in which bees produce nectar; one can even purchase the freshly produced pure honey.

The Pandavas, during their Vanvas (stay in the forests), are said to have stopped over at this place in Saputara to worship Lord Shiva. Also, called the Arvalem Caves, it is a beautiful destination that attracts many. On the way to the valley, one can find several beautiful tribal valleys and forts.

The trekking routes to Rajat Pratap and Tridhara, present close to Dhupgarh, are amongst the most well-established trekking routes in Saputara. There are some non-touristy places that still remain quite unexplored; these routes are extremely beautiful and are quite a challenge to the trekkers.
