International Yoga Day 2022 - Free Entry for tourists at Taj Mahal, Agra Fort, etc.

On the occasion of International yoga day 2022. "The authorities have decided to waive off the entry fee of all important monuments and places including Taj Mahal, Agra Fort, and Fatehpur Sikri," an official of the Archaeological Survey of India (ASI) said.

International Yoga Day is celebrated on June 21 every year. The day was established in India by the Government of India and the Ministry of Tourism, Government of India. It is a national holiday that is celebrated all over the country. This year the theme for the International Yoga Day is "Yoga for humanity".

The celebrations began with a huge campaign to promote yoga with various activities like yoga pose demonstrations and yoga lessons in schools and colleges. These activities were held across the country to encourage people to adopt this healthy way of life.

As part of its efforts to spread awareness about yoga, the Indian government has decided to hold International Yoga Day 2022 on June 21 with no entry fee at various tourist destinations across India including Agra Fort and Taj Mahal. In addition to this initiative, special arrangements have been made for people who want to pay homage at these places without paying any money or incurring any cost.

Today morning, Prime Minister Narendra Modi supervised the International Yoga Day 2022 event at the Mysuru Palace in Karnataka, where he did yoga asanas with over 15,000 people participating in the event.

PM Modi expressed to the audience, "The calm that yoga brings is not just for individuals." Yoga promotes social harmony. "Yoga also provides serenity to our universe."
