Namdapha National Park Weather

October to April is the best time to visit time to visit Namdapha National Park. As the altitude ranges from 200m to 4500m, there is a vast change in climate within the Park itself. Higher altitudes are mostly snow capped round the year. With the increase in altitude habitat of wildlife also changes.

Summer

Wildlife enthusiasts can come to Namdapha National Park during March to May. During this pre monsoon season and wildlife can be enjoyed without any hindrance.

Monsoon

Unlike higher altitudes, tropical climate is found in the plain and valley region of the forest. South west monsoon hits the National Park from June to September. October to November is considered as post monsoon season. Rainfall and humidity also effect the vegetation of the area.

Winter

Winter season starts from December and ends by February. The weather during these months are chilly at higher altitudes as most of the peaks remain snow capped while in plains and valleys its quite cold.
