Maheshwar Weather

Maheshwar can be visited during the Monsoon season as well as in the winter. However, the best time to visit is from October to February i.e. during the winter season when the weather remains extremely wonderful for tourist activities. As the place is dedicated to Lord Shiva, the ideal time to visit is in February and march when the festival of Maha Shivaratri is celebrated.

Summer

The summer season in Maheshwar is quite hot and dry. The minimum temperature during this season is 35° Celsius and mercury can rise till 42° Celsius. Summer sets in March and remains till June. The month of May is the hottest and mercury may rise to 45° Celsius. This is not the right season to visit this place.

Monsoon

The monsoon season begins in July and continues till September. These months are the most wonderful period in Maheshwar. Rainfall in this place that does not exceed a certain limit; hence sightseeing is not hampered if visited during this time. The weather remains extremely enjoyable in monsoon.

Winter

The winter season in Maheshwar is also not extreme with just minimum of 19° Cescius of average temperature. The winter months are from November to February. Visitors are sure to enjoy their stay in Maheshwar during the winter season as the weather remains cool and soothing. Moreover, this period is very pleasant for sightseeing.
