Kedar Tal is easily accessible from major cities in India via rail, road and air. The nearest railway station is the Haridwar railway station, 325 kilometres from Gangotri. The stunning 17 km trek to Kedar Tal starts from Gangotri and gives you a rare opportunity to browse through lush green valleys, cascading river streams and waterfalls and snow-clad mountain peaks of the Himalayas on the course of your journey.
