Tourists in large numbers prefer visiting Harsil during this time because of pleasant weather. However, visitors are advised to carry sufficient woollen clothes.

Monsoon

(July to August): Tourists are advised to avoid visiting this place during the monsoon season as landslides are quite common that often lead to roadblocks. However, the beauty of the place can be best enjoyed during this season only.

Winter

(October to February): The winter season in Harsil starts from October and lasts till February. During this time, the maximum and minimum temperature of the place is recorded at 10° C and 0° C, respectively. The region experiences heavy snowfall during this season.
