Hampi Weather

The ideal time to visit this UNESCO World Heritage Site is the winter season. Tourism is at its peak during September and February, when many festivals are celebrated at Hampi.

Summer

(March to May): Summers in Hampi are quite dry and hot, with the maximum temperature recorded as 40℃. Warm and dry weather during summers is not preferred by tourists.

Monsoon

(June to August): Hampi receives good amount of rainfall during monsoons and several tourists visit the destination during this time.

Winter

(September to February): The weather of Hampi remains quite cool and pleasant during the winter season. The minimum temperature during winters can go down to 12℃, whereas it increases to 30℃ during the day.
