The best season to visit Hajo is during the monsoons. Thanks to the rainfall the town is completely covered in greenery – a treat for the city-bred. The temperature remains more or less steady, and the humidity decreases during the monsoons. Despite the rain, it isn’t difficult to travel to Hajo during the monsoons.

Summer

The summer months at Hajo are quite hot and humid. The maximum temperature can reach up to 38 degrees Celsius while the minimum temperature ranges around 22 degrees Celsius. The summer sets in by March and lasts till the end of May. Rainfall can be expected during the summer months.

Monsoon

Monsoon sets in by June and stays up to August. Though rainfall is experienced even during the summer months, during the peak monsoon season, rainfall is heavy and torrential. Despite heavy rainfall, the town gets a new look every year which makes it all the more beautiful.

Winter

Winters at Hajo are pleasant though considerably long. The winter sets in by November and lasts till February. The maximum temperature recorded during the winters here is 25 degrees Celsius while the minimum temperature recorded is 7 degrees Celsius. It is a pleasant time to visit this religious town.
