Ganjam Weather

With the cold waves blowing continuously throughout the day, winter season casts a magical spell in Ganjam. All the tourist spots gets populated with tourist for various activities like picnic and sightseeing. Often people enjoy Bonfire amidst the vast green jungles or enjoy sun bathing in the exotic beaches of Ganjam.

Summer

Summer season prevails from March to May. The climate remains humid with high temperature. May is the hottest month. Being a coastal region, Ganjam it experiences high humidity during summer. The scorching sun makes living uneasy and hence tourism during this time is not favorable.

Monsoon

Second week of June marks the commencement of South West Monsoon which exists till September. With the arrival of monsoon, the climate becomes pleasant with around 70 % of rainfall. Though it brings huge relief from the scorching sun but frequent downpour is not favorable for travelling.

Winter

The south west wind withdraws itself at the end of October which marks the arrival of winter. Temperature dips to around 10 degree Celsius in December. Winter stays till February making the climate charming and pleasant. Huge influx of tourist can be seen during this time.
