Summer

(June to September): Summer season here starts from June and lasts till September. The maximum and minimum temperatures of Dras have been recorded at 24� C and 9� C respectively. During summers, the weather remains pleasant which makes it a suitable time for exploring the destination.

Monsoon

Winter

(Mid-October to Mid-May): Winter season here starts from mid-October and lasts till mid-May. Dras, being the second coldest region in the world after Siberia, has an average temperature of -22℃ during winters. The minimum temperature can drop to low as -45℃. Travellers are advised to keep away from the destination during this season as the inhospitable climatic conditions during this time does not allow any exploration.
