Dhanaulti Attractions - Tourist Places To Visit In Dhanaulti

Eco Park is a must-visit spot for every tourist who visits Dhanaulti. There are two Eco Parks known by the names of Ambar and Dhara. The Forest Department of Uttarakhand has developed these parks recently with assistance from local youth. Tourists can explore the park with the help of local guides. There is a protected area of small deodar forest within this park. A small entry fee is required to enter the forest.

Camp Thangdhar is an adventure camp located at a height of 8300 ft above sea level in Dhanaulti, 14 km from the main market. Tourists can unwind in the alpine and deluxe tents which offer comfortable accommodation complete with all the basic amenities. The camp is specially developed for adventure lovers interested in rock climbing, river crossing, hiking, trekking, zig zag bars and commando net.

Moreover, tourists can also enjoy outdoor games including mini golf, soft ball cricket, badminton and mini basket ball here. This camp also organises sightseeing of nearby places for tourists. It is a perfect location for the star gazers and bird watchers.

Potato Farm, also known as 'Aloo Khet', is located close to the main market of Dhanaulti. This farm is owned by the Government of Uttarakhand. Popular as a sunrise point, the place also offers a panoramic view of the Doon Valley. Tourists can hire horses to explore this picturesque spot. The farm produces a large quantity of potatoes, which are also supplied to other states of India.
