BR Hills can be visited any time of the year, but the period between October and May is considered the best, especially the summer months of March, April and May.

Summer

(March to May): Weather of BR Hills is extremely beautiful and comfortable during summer season and thus, travellers prefer to visit this place during this season. The daytime temperature goes up to 38℃, while during the night temperature drops down to 20℃.

Monsoon

(June to September): BR Hills receives heavy rainfall during monsoon season and thus, travellers avoid visiting this hill station. The heavy rains make it uncomfortable for the visitors to travel around.

Winter

(October to February): The weather remains quite cool and pleasant during winters, with the average temperature recorded between 9℃ and 16℃.
