Bidar is a city that is located in the north-eastern part of Karnataka. The city is one of the cleanest cities in the state. It is also known as the peak of Karnataka.

Fairs & Festivals Of Bidar

An annual fair called the Bidar Utsav is organised every year in the month of January or February. This festival showcases the culture and heritage of the city. This includes kite flying competitions, children's film festival, Mushairas or Sher recitals by renowned poets of the place and street plays. These events are held in several places like the Bidar Fort and the Rangmandir theatre.

Humnabad, which is very close to Bidar, is where a week's celebration of Veerbhadreshwara Jatra or the Chariot procession takes place. This happens in February every year and is considered one of the significant festivals of Bidar.
