Berhampur Weather

Winter is the best season to visit Berhampur. The temperatures are cool and pleasant. Humidity during winter is low, making it the most comfortable season. The festival of Dushera (celebrated between October and November) is celebrated in nearly all the temples in Berhampur making it a good time to visit.

Summer

In Berhampur, the summer season lasts between March and June. The temperatures get uncomfortably high with low humidity. The temperature can range between 32° to 45° Celcius during the summer season. Visiting during summer may not be a good idea as it is a temple and beach town.

Monsoon

Monsoons are a beautiful season in India. After the unbearable heat and dry weather during the summer season, the rains are a welcome relief. Visiting Berhampur during the monsoon season may not be a good idea. The heavy rains combined with the potholes and the backed up sewers can cause stagnant water on the roads making travel inconvenient.

Winter

Winter is a pleasant season in India with cool temperatures and low chances of rain. Winter here lasts between early November and mid-February. The temperatures hover around the low 20° Celsius at the highest and a cool 11° Celsius during the nights. The temperature is comfortable and inviting to a large number of tourists both from within and outside of India.
