Athirapally Weather

The place can be visited all throughout the year though not so much in summers as it becomes hot, but a visit during the winters can be pleasant as well as during the rainy season as during the rainy season the falls become a spectacle but the roads might not be in a good condition. The journey can become a little risky.

Summer

Athirapally has a temperate and a tropical climate, and the temperature is usually balanced throughout the year. The season is warm, and it might be a little uneasy during this time. The summer season is from March to May when temperatures are between 30°C-36°C. This is the hottest time of the year and is usually a dry period.  

Monsoon

The monsoon season brings a lot of rains and one can see the three waterfalls of Athirapally in full force because of the monsoon downpours. The Monsoon season is from June to September though it rains in October and November as well.  

Winter

Winter season starts from December and continues till the end of February. The maximum temperature during this period goes up to 33°C, while the minimum is at a soothing 20°C. January is the coldest month of the year.
