Kongka Pass is a mountain pass in the Ladakh region of Jammu and Kashmir and marks the end of the Indian territory and the start of the Chinese territory. It is generally popular as the place where the famous Indo-Sino War of 1962 was fought between the forces of India and China.
However, in the recent times, Kongka Pass has gained popularity as a UFO base in the Himalayas. Numerous government officials working on the borders and locals inhabiting the region have reportedly seen UFOs and alien activities several times.

By Air: The nearest airport from the pass is located in Leh at a distance of about 200 km. There are no proper roads to reach the pass directly; therefore, you can hire a cab to Shyok and then from there, you need to trek all the way to the pass. Shyok is located at a distance of about 125 km from the airport and about 70 km from the pass.
By Rail: The nearest railhead to the pass is located at a distance of about 900 km. Therefore, it is not a preferred mode of transport to reach the pass.
By Road: As the pass is not connected to other cities and towns by road, you need to walk to access it. The last stoppage you can approach by road is Shyok, which is located at a distance of about 70 km from the pass.
