Every year hundreds of writers from all over the world come together to one perfect destination filled with history and tales of great kings of the past, Jaipur, a tiny little historical heaven in India, to glorify literature for what it is.

This year, Jaipur Literature Festival will be held in the same, old, grand and mystical location from 25th to 29th January with almost 400 speakers from all over the world. How about visiting this great show to illuminate your fused mind?

Jaipur Literature Festival was first held in 2006 at The Diggi Palace Hotel where 18 writers and 14 others were present along with only 100 attendees. Every year since then, this literature festival has only grown larger with writers from all over the world flying down to India to attend this event.

Also been described as the World's Largest Free Literary Festival, it is produced by Sanjoy Roy of Teamwork Arts. Year 2018 will celebrate the eleventh edition with visitors coming in in thousands.

But here at Jaipur Literature Festival, every gossip is a tale of the mystical being of the past, the beauty of today and the infinite possibilities of tomorrow. Here, the matters discussed consist of the dark matters from the time of dinosaurs to the mysterious tour of The Beatles in India and much more from politics to religion.

This is where people discuss ideas and theories rather than spreading petty negativity on other people's lifestyle. Debates on various themes and revolutionary topics are carried out with utmost passion to let the listeners grasp the soul of the debate.

Jaipur Literature Festival, founded by Namita Gokhale and William Dalrymple, over the years has had many prominent writers from all over the world coming down to share their love for literature and shed light on some important topics of discussion. Some of the great writers that have attended the Jaipur Literature Festival areSalman Rushdie,Kiran Desai,Suketu Mehta,Shashi Deshpande,Hemant Shesh,Prasoon Joshi, Javed Akhtar,VS Naipaul,Chetan Bhagat,Amish Tripathi and many more.

This year, too, many prominent writers who are best in their fields are honouring the stages of Jaipur Literature Festival, such as English novelist and author of the iconic Bridget Jones Diary, Helen Fielding, author of the famous book The Joy Luck Club, Amy Tan, Pulitzer Prize-winning reporter from The Boston Globe, Michael Rezendes, former president of Afghanistan, Hamid Karzai and 2006 Nobel Peace Prize laureate, Muhammad Yunus.

The event will have seven different spaces allocated for various discussions taking place at the same time, so you can choose which one you want to be a part of. But being an event filled with so many interesting talks emerging, there is a good chance that you miss a few while gaining insights on few others. The seven spaces allocated for Jaipur Literature Festival are Charbagh, Front Lawn, Mughal Tent, Baithak, Durbar Hall, Samvad and Jaipur Bookmark Haveli.

Jaipur Literature Festival 2018, from 25th to 29th January, will be the best Jaipur literary gala India has ever seen with great writers, such as star poets and acclaimed novelists, historians and biographers, thinkers and dreamers and scribblers and critics, genii and half the faculty of Harvard, gathered together to share their common love for literature and pay their respect to all other writers from all over the world.

If you want to be a part of Jaipur Literature Festival you can get yourself registered at their website. It is a free event as long as you are just attending the festival. However, if you want to participate as a delegate, you may have to pay a certain sum of money depending on the number of days you want to be a part of the festival.
