This video features Emigrant Butterflies, one of the most common butterflies in India. This video was shot in Rajaji National Park near Haridwar, Uttarakhand state of India. The scientific name of Emigrant Butterflies is Catopsilia crocale. It belongs to the family Pieridae and Kingdom Animalia.

It is greenish and resembles the leaf of plants. It is usually found in the wet places of Western Ghats. The butterfly feeds on certain flowers like bougainvillea, lantana, poinsettia, Ceylon Carissa, cotton and sunflower.
