Democratic country - Adithi Devo Bhavah
India has a long tradition of welcoming guests with open arms and warm hearts. Occasionally, this has resulted in men from foreign lands winning over the Indians confidence with the intentions of conquest. Nevertheless, the bitter experiences of being exploited and enslaved have not diminished the innate hospitality of the Indian. The tastiest food, the most comfortable chair and the best room are always given to the guest.
There are those who break this unwritten, age-old rule but for the mast majority, every guest is to be treated with love and respect.
Every guest is a guest of honour.
The guest is god.
