Diu, a part of the Union Territory of Daman and Diu is an island located on the south coast of Gujarat state, India. The Diu district is well known for its Portuguese architecture as the latter had erected various buildings and forts here.

The Diu Fort built in 1535 during the Portuguese reign is a prominent structure within the district.
