Ajanta Cave No. 25, Aurangabad

A vihara is a monastery with a sanctuary in the structure's rear centre. The 25th cave of Ajanta is a small vihara with a verandah supported on two pillars. The hall inside has three doors. At the left end of the verandah is a chamber, with cells at the right and back. Ajanta Caves which includes paintings and sculptures, considered to be masterpieces of Buddhist religious art, is now a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
