Raja's Tomb at Madikeri, Kodagu

Also known as Gaddige, the Raja’s Tomb built in Indo-Saracenic architecture style, is located at Madikeri in the Kodagu district of Karnataka State, India. A historical spot, the Raja’s Tomb was the mausoleum of the former kings of Kodagu.

The structure has three tombs in which the first one erected in 1809, is located in the northernmost part of Madikeri. The first tomb was built after the death of Dodda Veera Rajendra and the second one built in 1821, was constructed by Linga Rajendra.

The third and the small tomb built in 1834, is dedicated to their guru or royal priest Rudrappa or Rudramuniswamy.
