Summer

The summer sets in the month of March and continues till May. This is the best time to visit Tuensang as the weather remains mild and perfect for travelling. Monsoon

By the end of June, Tuensang sees the monsoons setting in which continues till the end of September. Rain falls throughout the day and because of its perennial nature, travelling because a problem during the monsoons. The month of August experiences the highest rainfall. The temperature drops considerably during this time.

Winter

Winters are quite cold in Tuensang with temperature falling to about 4 degrees Celsius. Travelling becomes almost impossible during the harsh winter months. The highest temperature that is generally recorded during the winters is 24 degrees Celsius. Winter seeps in December and stays till February with January being the coldest month.
