Pahalgam in Winter

Pahalgam is a hill station situated at a height of 7,200ft above the sea level. It is one of the best snowfall destinations in India. The hill station is recreational spot with bustling activities.
Pahalgam is a popular winter and summer destination in Jammu & Kashmir.
The snowfall in winter makes this place look white and magical. A ride from Srinagar which is around 88km will reach you to Pahalgam.
There are no railways to this hill station, one can only go by road or a helicopter if one can afford.

March - June
Pahalgam is also a favorite film shooting location for Bollywood movies. In summer, the pleasant climate provides a good vacation spot for the tourists.
The hill station is very popular for the Amarnath Yatra (Hindu pilgrimage). Chandanwari which is near to Pahalgam is the starting base for Amarnath trek. Pahalgam serves as a winter and summer destination.

Shimla in Winter
December - February
Shimla is one of the top snowy places to visit in India. It has been a holiday destination from a long time and even today it is filled with tourists.
Snow covered Shimla is a visual treat, as it gains a different look in winter.
