Elephant Falls is an elegant beauty; those who visit Shillong should never miss out on this destination. It is a three-tier fall which mystifies each and everyone. Stepped rocks make way for several streams to become one voluminous fall that live up to its name 'Elephant Falls'.
Bishop and Beadon Falls
Bishop and Beadon Falls are the twin waterfalls that look slender and tall. Thick green vegetation surrounding the milky white falls make for a perfect picture. A journey for 2km from the Bara Bazaar is enough to reach the twin waterfalls in Shillong.

Sweet Falls
Sweet Falls is like a lonely star in the dark sky! It is a dazzling beauty but hard to get. Sweet Falls is said to be one of the most enthralling waterfalls near Happy Valley. No one is allowed to go near as it is in the thick jungle. A distant view of Sweet Falls (Kshaid Weitdan) is enough to feel its grandeur.
Spread Eagle Falls
Spread Eagle Falls is one of the favourite picnic spots in Shillong. The name Spread Eagle indicates to its large width. Tucked away in the midst of the greenery, Spread Eagle Falls meanders through the hilly terrains. Just head away from the city for 6km to be quietly engrossed in the lap of nature.
Crinolline Falls
Crinolline Falls is right in the heart of Shillong. It is a small waterfall which provides an instant escapade for people. The natural pool at the base and surrounding nature is very scenic. It creates a contrast with the city.
