H.E.H Nizam's Museum
Who doesn't love gifts?! It looks like Osman Ali Khan, the last Nizam of Hyderabad enjoyed his exotic gifts! In H.E.H Nizam's Museum at Purani Haveli exhibits a collection of gifts and mementos which the last Nizam received during the silver jubilee celebrations. The exihibits include silver models of old Hyderabad's buildings, vintage cars and many artifacts.

Legends Motorcycle Museum
Vintage car museums are common, this one here is dedicated to vintage motorcycles! Legends Motorcycle Museum is the the private collection of S.K.Prabhu with more than 20 vintage motorcycles that are still in working condition. Some rare collections include the motorcycles from World War II. The museum at Pulakeshi Nagar in Bengaluru is surely a biker's delight!

Indroda Dinosaur and Fossil Park
You may have seen the imaginary Dinosaur eggs in the Jurassic Park movies. In Indroda Dinosaur and Fossil Park you'll see the second largest fossilized hatchery of Dinosaur eggs in the world. It is the only Dinosaur museum located in Ahemdabad, Gujarat. It is in fact called as India's Jurassic Park!

Island Museum, Nagarjunakonda
Nagarjunakonda is an ancient Buddhist site near Nagarjuna Sagar in Andhra Pradesh. Now it is an island which was once known as Sri Parvata. The museum displays the excavated remains of an ancient Buddhist civilization. Tourists can also see the remains of Paleolithic, Megalithic and Neolithic ages.

Sulabh International Museum of Toilets
The museum is as amusing as it sounds! Definitely we would wonder what kind of toilet system was there in olden times. This unique museum gives all the information of age of sanitary systems and the history of toilets around the world. It is located in New Delhi.

INS Kurusura Submarine Museum
INS Kurusura is a submarine of Indian Navy which played a major role during in Indo-Pakisthan war. Now the submarine is not active but still holds the award of "Dressing Ship" (active). Kurusura is now preserved as a museum in Ramakrishna Mission Beach at Vishakhapatnam.

Arna Jharna: The Desert Museum Rajasthan
Unlike other museums, Arna-Jharna is not located in a building. It is actually an open museum which celebrated the desert landscapes and the folk culture of the people. Arna-Jharna is located near Arneshwar Mahadev Temple at a distance of 23km from Jodhpur. One of the main displays are the 'brooms' that have been a major part of human life.

Calico Museum of Textiles consists of varieties of fabrics, handicraft textiles, etc. It is founded and managed by Sarabhai Foundation. It is located in Shahibagh in Ahmedabad and is one of the unique museums you can find in India.
