One wouldn't mind a change of scene occasionally; it is always rejuvenating and fun to glance into an entirely different set-up. The town of Bylakuppe is a stark contrast to South India and that's why it is a big hit among tourists. Even though Namdroling Monastery is the centre of attraction, there are much more things to do in Bylakuppe!

You will literally see a 'Mini Tibet' in Bylakuppe! It was the then Prime Minister Jawaharlal Nehru's orders to give some land for the Tibetan Refugees. Today, Bylakuppe is one of the biggest Tibetan settlements in South India. The hues and colours of Tibet reflects in this beautiful town. Exploring this town is certainly worthwhile.
