Sachin Tendulkar, the God of cricket is on his holiday at Mussoorie! When he is out with his family having a great time among the snow-kissed hills of Mussoorie, the nation, with its innumerable cricket fans, feels happy for him and his precious moments.

Sachin Tendulkar has been a hot topic for cricket-lovers in India and the world alike. With that emotional speech that shook the bravest of hearts after his 200th Test Match at Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai on November 16th, Sachin seems to be going by words as promised to his family.

Mussoorie has always been one of Sachin's favourite holiday destinations in India. On each visit to the place, he stays with his family at a hotel owned by Sanjay Narang, his business partner. The legendary batsman, arrived Jolly Grant Airport in Mussoorie on Wednesday, a week after his retirement. Kempty Falls

The Kempty Falls is the biggest among the five waterfalls in the Mussoorie valley. Falling from a height of around 40ft, the view of the waterfalls is just amazing and a Must-Visit in Mussoorie.

Interestingly, the waterfalls gets its name from Camp-Tea, the place where Britishers used to have tea parties. The destination also offers scope for leisure activities like swimming and fishing.

Gun Hill

The Gun Hill is another popular tourist attraction of Mussoorie. The second highest peak of Mussoorie has an interesting tale to unfold. Prior to Indian Independence, a canon was fired from the top of the hill during every afternoon, according to which the locals adjusted their watches. The hill thus gets its name, the Gun Hill.

The place gives picturesque views of the Himalayan peaks and is also close to The Mall, which is a popular shopping hub of Mussoorie.

Landour Bazaar

Landour Bazaar is one of the best shopping destinations worth exploring in Mussoorie. The place is also famous for Mullinger Estate, which is the residence of the founder of Mussoorie, Captain Young.

Tourists flock in from various parts of the world to witness the beautiful architecture that adds to the shopper's taste in the city. This pollution-free zone also boats of Char Dukan, which is known for its shops where you can shop and eat from the stalls rowed up.

Clouds End

Clouds End, as the name suggests, is the end of the cloudy paradise of Mussoorie. A walk to the tip of the city is to be experienced, rather than expressed in words. Passing through the woods of Benog Wildlife Sanctuary listening to the music of nature, one is sure to get lost in dreams as he reaches Clouds End. This place is located around 6 km from the Library, which is another shopping destination of Mussoorie.
