Parvati Valley
The Parvati Valley is a rocky valley situated in Himachal Pradesh and is characterised by its many alpine plantations and rocky outcrops. The many rocky outcrops ensure that you get ample opportunity for rock climbing. The place is a backpacker's haven and thus a favourite trekking location too. Travellers come to the valley just to take part in the rock climbing expeditions held frequently in the region.

Malshej Ghat
Malshej Ghat in Maharashtra is a quaint place but popular nonetheless with rock climbers. It is ideal for hiking, trekking and other activities. There is lush greenery here and the place is heavenly during the monsoons. There are iconic forts, temples and caves in the vicinity and you must explore these while indulging in rock climbing and rappelling.

Madhugiri
Madhugiri which is also known as Maddagiri, is located in the Tumkur district of Karnataka. It is famous for its many giant rocks that overlook the town. Rock climbing sees enthusiastic participation form the tourists. There is a fort that is nestled in one of the steep slopes and interestingly the giant rock is the second largest monolith in the whole of Asia. Thus giving a sense of uniqueness to the climb.

Paithalmala
Situated near the Kappimala village, Paithalmal is at a height of 1,372 mt above sea level. It is ideal for rock climbing, rappelling and other activities. It is cosily nestled in the Western Ghats and you can find lush greenery everywhere. One of the highest peaks of Kannur, it is also a rock climber's haven. Dozens of travellers come to the place to experience the wonderful rock climbing expeditions conducted annually.
