Ngaloi Falls

Tribal Museums
Located in the town are two Tribal Museums which gives a glimpse into the history of Manipur and the lifestyle of the people staying here. The museum has a large collection of tribal art and artifacts which have been collected from different parts of the state. These include the tools used by the people in the everyday lives, models of traditional huts and traditional attire of the tribal in Manipur. You will also see the weapons which were used by the tribal in the past for hunting and defending themselves from others.

How to Reach Churachandpur

By Air: Churachandpur doesn't have any airport, and the nearest airhead is in Imphal, 59 km away. Daily flights to Imphal are available from Kolkata, Delhi, Bangalore and Mumbai.

By Train: Since Manipur doesn't have any significant railway presence apart from the narrow gauge railway station at Jiribam, tourists seeking to board trains to reach Churachandpur will have to travel to Dimapur first. Dimapur is 174 km away from this district headquarters.

By Road: The National Highway 150 also known as the Tedim Road connects Churachandpur to Imphal. This road serves as the lifeline to the town and subsequently to the district. Tourists can travel on state-run buses or hire private vehicles to reach Churachandpur from Imphal. The town is also well connected to other parts of the state.
