The beautiful Enamavu Lake.

What You Can Expect

Enamavu is a small village located beautifully amidst backwaters, lake, dam, hills and lush green fields. The lake is formed by the water collected from the Peechi Dam, this is joined by other rivers such as Kurumali and Puzhakkal.

The Enamavu Kettu or bund has been created to prevent the fresh water of the lake from mixing with salty seawater. The lake is a beautiful sight with lush fields all around it. Paddy plantations are aplenty and they are well placed with the hills forming a picturesque backdrop. To the west is the stunning sight of the Cannolly River, lined with rows of coconut trees. The sight is pretty amazing!
