The Pamban bridge at Rameshwaram

Pamban Bridge
The Pamban bridge in Rameshwaram is the longest sea bridge in India which connects Rameshwaram with the rest of the country. This 2.3km long bridge also allows ships to pass underneath by opening to allow the ships to cross the bridge. It takes 12 people to pull up the lever of the bridge, and is one of the dangerous bridges to travel, especially on windy days.
