Bordi in Maharashtra is situated in the North of Mumbai and is a perfect package for tourists as it offers an ultimate place for one to relax and wash away all the madness of city life. The place is peaceful place and is very easily accessible from the city of Mumbai.

Being a beach town, the major draw here in the Bordi beach which is calm and has very clean surroundings even though the place is filled with tourists throughout the year. The beach has sand in the shades of black and is also sticky.

The beach is surrounded by chickoo trees which adds on to the charming look of the place. The beach is a popular choice amongst those who come in search of places for picnics, gatherings and for those who love to take a stroll across the seaside or have jolly ride atop a horse. The beach is also considered as a holy site for the Zoroastrians.

By Air: The nearest airport to Bordi is the Chattrapathi Shivaji International Airport in Mumbai which is located at an approximate distance of 145 km. The airport is well-connected to all the major cities across the country and to a few abroad as well.

By Train: The nearest railway station is Dahanu Road which around 3 km from the town. The station is wellconnected to all the major towns and cities of the State and also to a few others outside the state.

By Road: One of the best ways to reach Bordi is by road, which is well-connected by roads and has many buses which ply from the cities of Mumbai and Pune regularly to Bordi. Mumbai is at distance of 160 km from here and Pune, 289 km.
