Take the NICE road to reach NH48 and continue via Kunigal to Channarayapatna. Since the roads are very good, you will enjoy it even more. On the way, one can have breakfast either near Nelamangala or Kunigal road.
If you are interested, you can look around the places in Channarayapatna before continuing your journey. The famous Shravanabelagola is just 13 km and for a spiritual start one can visit Sri Lakshminarayana Temple.

Otherwise, just go straight ahead to Hassan and that will be your first tourist destination.

Sakleshpur is a hill station town in Hassan district. Popularly known as 'Poor man's Ooty', it has many tourist attractions.
By the time you reach there, the lush greenery along the way would have rejuvenated you. Mind that after Hassan, the roads are not great; still it is one of the best routes to enjoy nature and rain.
The next destination will be Manjarabad Fort!

Manjarabad Fort was built by Tipu Sultan mainly as a defensive location. The Fort is in star shape and provides a good view of the plateau beyond Sakleshpur. There are steps leading to the view point in the middle of the fort. You can climb to reach the view point if you are up for it.
Next tourist spot is Bisle Ghat
Around 5km from Bisle village towards Kukke Subramanya, there is Bisle Ghat. From Bisle view point, one can see the exquisite mountain ranges of 3 districts: Kumara Parvatha, Pushpa giri and Dotta Betta.

Bisle Ghat - Mallalli Falls: 28.6 km

Mallalli Falls is located in the foothills of Pushpagiri mountains. The water in the falls will there only during monsoon and not in other seasons. The Kumaradhara river is the watercourse of Mallali falls which flows through Kukke Subramanya to reach netravati river.
This water fall is a bliss to watch and should not be missed. However, watch out for leeches when you visit this place.
After Mallalli falls you can return to Bangalore or continue the awesome journey to the beautiful Coorg.

You can rest in Coorg that night. The next day, visit the places around Coorg and return to Bangalore by night.
