1. Marine Drive

Marine Drive is one of the very popular spots in the southern part of the city. It is popular amongst everyone who lives in the city starting from students, daydreamers, amateur photographers, artisans and the list just simply goes on and on.

It is one place in the city which would boost up your energy level that has been sucked out by city life. Come visit the Marine Drive and the city would give you back whatever it took away from you.

2. Hanging Gardens

Also known as Pherozeshah Mehta Gardens, it is perched up on the western side of the Malabar Hill. The park was laid out in the year 1881, over the main reservoir of Bombay. When seen from the top, the walkway of the park spells out the letters PMG. It is one of the best places to spend some quality time away from the city.

3. Shivaji Park

The park is located in Dadar and is one of the largest parks in the city which spreads to an area of almost 28 acres. The park is also an important place for social and political gatherings which have been taking place here since the pre-independence era.

The park area is an open space and mainly used as a cricket ground. Well, Sachin Tendulkar used to play here regularly before he got into mainstream which is another reason to visit this park.

4. Worli Seaface

A promenade right in the middle of the city. Well, grab a place to sit on the seashore and just spend your time gazing into the setting sun or the rising sun depending upon when you visit the place or simply just enjoy the beauty of the Bandra-Worli Sea Link and experience peace.

5. Bandra Fort

The original name was Castella de Aguada, but is fondly called the Bandra Fort. It was built by the Portuguese in 1640 as a watchtower overlooking the Arabian sea. Immerse yourself in the beauty of the fort and enjoy the sunset along with the cool breeze of the sea.

6. Juhu Beach

The beach always wears more or less a carnival-like appearance and is one of the most-visited beaches by those in the western suburbs. The sight of kites and balloons flying would take you back to your childhood days and make you relive them here. The atmosphere of this place makes it a very good place to go for an outing with your friends.

7. Bandstand

Bandstand is a promenade, with the sea on one side which is followed by cafes. Three phrases to sum up: long walks, conversations and musicians. This is exactly how the Bandstand functions in Bandra making it one of the perfect places to spend some time.

8. Versova Beach

This place is for those who would like to enjoy their food with a view of the Arabian sea. The Carter Road is a posher version of the Bandstand area. It is one of the great places for one to simply loiter around enjoying the sights of the locality.
