Parasurameswara Temple, Tirupati

Parasurameswara Temple in Gudimallam is placed at a distance of about 20 km from Tirupati. The significance of the temple is that there is a Linga in the Garbhagriha of the temple. The linga is considered as one of the first Lingas discovered to date. It is supposed to have existed since the 1st or 2nd century BC.
