Nalagarh Palace, Solan

Nalagarh Palace is an important tourist attraction of the Solan District. The town of Nalagarh is also referred to as the gateway to Himachal Pradesh, and it once served as the capital of the state of Hindur. King Surendra Singh was the last king of Nalagarh, and at present, Raja Vijayendra, his son is the ceremonial head of the place.

The palace is known for its architecture, which is a blend of Indian and Mughal styles, and was recently converted into a deluxe heritage resort.
