How to reach Satara by road
The city of Satara is situated on the Pune-Bangalore Highway, around 120 km away from Pune. There are several state transport and private buses that ply from various cities and towns in India to Satara. Mumbai is situated around 270 km away from Satara by road and the journey takes close to 5 hours. The Mumbai-Pune Expressway is another excellent option.
