Kartse River, Sankoo

Kartse river, a tributary of river Suru, runs through the district of Kargil. The Kartse-Khar village is situated on the banks of Kartse river. Arising from the Rangdum Pass, Kartse river flows from the east and eventually produces the Kartse Valley.
