Rani Sati Temple, Rourkela

Rani Sati Temple is located at a place called Birmitrapur, which lies about 35 km away from Rourkela. The temple is also known as the second Jhun-Jhun Dham in India. It is spread across an area of 2 acres of land. The temple was constructed in the year 1967.

The beauty of the temple is simply mesmerizing. The temple is constructed in white marble. Amazing artworks adorn the interior of the temple. There is a golden pot placed on top of the temple that offers it a majestic look. Apart from the daily pujas, special pujas are performed to mark special occasions like no-moon days.

There are two splendid flower gardens in the temple complex. One of them has an attractive statue of Lord Shiva. The temple remains open to the public every day from 5 am to 12 pm during the morning hours and from 4 pm to 9 pm during the evening hours.
